Fields of application within the ATLAS Laser Robot Arm

The ATLAS Laser Robot Arm enables precise, low-radiation and workflow-optimized performance of various image-guided procedures - directly in everyday clinical practice.

Typical areas of application

  • Pain therapy (e.g. periradicular therapy, facet joint injections)
  • Biopsies
  • Ablation and decompression
  • Epidural spinal injections

"Thanks to the use of the system, we were able to expand our range of applications and significantly increase the number of patients. Particularly important for our decision was the retained freedom of movement as well as the remaining tactile feedback of the needle."

Dr. Hannemann Med360° Berlin

"Since its installation in May 2014, my team and I have been using the system to simplify and accelerate CT interventions. Initial evaluations show clear advantages compared to freehand puncture. At professional conferences, we present study results to our colleagues demonstrating that the Laser Robot Arm halves radiation exposure and allowed younger colleagues to puncture three times faster. The system guides instruments quickly and precisely to the target—both for simple drainages and complex tumor therapies."

Prof. Dr. med. Zech Universitätsspital Basel

"Modern technologies such as the Laser Robot Arm and DVT are revolutionizing spinal infiltration therapy. They enable maximum precision and safety, reduce patient anxiety, and increase confidence in the treatment."

Prof. Dr. Grönemeyer Grönemeyer Institut

"The system impresses with precision and speed. Needle adjustments and additional control scans are almost entirely eliminated, optimizing the treatment process. At the same time, radiation exposure decreases while patient acceptance increases."

Dr. med. Reinwand Med360° Kölln

“After the third injection, we achieved significantly better results with the Laser Robot Arm compared to the freehand technique, due to its higher precision.“

Prof. Dr. med. Fischer Orthopädisches Zentrum Darmstadt

“The Laser Robot Arm has significantly improved my procedures through precise multi-level treatment and reduced radiation exposure – the result: more efficient processes and faster recovery.”

Prof. Dr. med. Citak Gesundheitszentrum Hamburg

Needle Placement Redefined

Four Steps to Laser-Precise Navigation

Place Reference Markers:

Sterile, radiotransparent reference points are placed along the spine. They enable AI-supported navigation and serve as fixed points for subsequent image registration.

Perform Imaging:

A CT or DVT scan provides the necessary image data, which is automatically transferred to the system—ensuring seamless integration into the navigation workflow.

Plan the Procedure:

Procedure planning is done intuitively via iPad. Multiple target points can be defined in a single step—saving time, reducing unnecessary scans, and minimizing radiation exposure.

Align & Treat with Laser:

The Laser Robot Arm automatically aligns according to the planned trajectory and precisely projects the laser beam onto the target area. AI-powered real-time guidance compensates for patient movement to ensure maximum accuracy.

Your care, enhanced by robotic precision.
